Dear Parishioners,

Monday and Tuesday this coming week, 27^th and 28^th Aug.  commemorate  the most famous mother and son in the Church`s history – Monica and  Augustine. I joined the Carmelite Order on Aug. 28^th many moons ago and Fr. Joe used tell people he let me in the door! In this passage Augustine describes her final hours. You probably remember seeing a picture of mother and son together. This is one of my favourite passages in all spiritual literature. Read more…
