About Us
The RCIA program commenced in the late 1980s and run every year following Easter for twelve months. Enquiries about the RCIA program can be made to the Parish Priest, Parish Office or by contacting a member of the Parish Community.

During weekly meetings Catechumens or Candidates are exposed to a curriculum developed by the Catholic Church. RCIA activities are based on Scripture and Catholic tradition which respects other faiths, religions and community norms.

Catechumens and Candidates are encouraged to select and prepare a Chapter as part of a hands-on learning style. We were amazed by the depth and diversity of knowledge brought to the group.

Catechumens or Candidates could of their own freewill choose to follow the program through to initiation or drop out at a time they feel it necessary.
