Farewell….. Fr Tadgh

TIERNEY, Fr TADGH, OCD

       8/9/1941 – 28/3/2022

Born in Borrisokane, Tipperary, Ireland, Tadgh was always a proud Irishman, a professed Carmelite friar for 61 years and a Catholic priest for 55 years. With his relaxed style and gift for friendship he was a much-loved priest and a dedicated teacher who brought Scriptural scholarship and Carmelite spirituality to life throughout his years in Infant Jesus Parish, Morley. His 80^th birthday celebrations in September were magnificent. Deepest sympathy to his family, confreres and friends. May he rest in peace.
