Dear Parishioners, Last Tuesday we celebrated the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, and once again I was struck by Peter’s cry in the Gospel reading, when he found himself in the presence of the Lord and the two great saints, Moses and Elijah: “Lord, how good it is to be here.” This cry resonates deeply with me, expressing my feeling every time I celebrate the Mass. We are so fortunate in our parish to be one of the very few which have two daily Masses each week day. This means that twice a day the Lord is offering us the great gift of himself, in all His radiant glory. It is sad that so few of us come to receive it! Read more
