CHURCH WORKERS SAFEGUARDING WORKSHOP
ESSENTIAL
Infant Jesus Parish Hall, Monday 1st July at 7pm
All parish volunteers: If you have not yet attended a safeguarding training session, or if you have not yet completed the required FORM 2 and/or FORM 18, then this session will answer your concerns regarding the completion of the forms and equip you to comply with the Archdiocesan requirements regarding the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults within your volunteer role.
Parish Staff, Special Ministers, Acolytes, Senior Altar Ministers, Choir leaders, Altar Server Co-ordinators, Catechists, Children’s Liturgy and Youth ministers: It is a requirement of the Archdiocese that ALL Catholic parish volunteers and employees who are currently required to hold a Working With Children Check also comply with the Safeguarding guidelines AND complete all required paperwork. If this paperwork is not completed and submitted, you will no longer be able to serve in your volunteer capacity. This requirement is for ALL affected volunteers, regardless of what role you have.
