Parish Bulletin, 24 February, 2013 – 2nd Sunday of Lent, Year C

Dear Parishioners,

The new year seems to have brought with it a parish “baby boom”, with Fr. Tadgh and myself having conducted 15 infant baptisms since the New Year and another 11 scheduled for next month.  It is one of the great joys of the priesthood, to see young parents bring their children to God in this way and to hear them make their commitment to raise their children as followers of Christ. These are always occasions of great hope to us as a Catholic community and we have a responsibility, as a community, to help these young parents bring up their children in faith and to feel truly at home here in the parish. Read more…
