Visit of the Relics of St. Therese and her parents – April 25 to 27 at Infant Jesus Church

Infant Jesus Parish together with Catholic Mission are preparing to  receive the relics of St Therese of Lisieux  once again and also those of her parents, Sts Louis and Zelie Martin, at Infant Jesus Church in 2020. More details in the coming months.

The visit of the relics, we know from experience, will be a very significant event for people from around the Archdiocese and so we are expecting, once again, large crowds. We need you to help us create a spirit of true hospitality and welcome for our guests. Please volunteer to be part of our Relics Visit Team. There is a registration form in the foyer, we ask you to sign up today or call parish office on9276 8500to help with tasks large and small.

Stations of the Cross for Lent

Stations of the Cross begin, in place of the Perpetual Novena, from Wednesday 4th March and continue through Lent. The service will start at 7pm and conclude at 7.30pm.

PLEASE NOTE: The Perpetual Novena to Our Lady of Mt Carmel will not be held during Lent. It will be replaced by Stations of the Cross.

Also on Friday afternoon during Lent, “The Way of the Cross” will be held in our Church from 2pm-3pm.

Parish Ministry and Groups Recruitment Weekend 21 and 22 March

We have a church – a beautiful church and a vibrant parish community built on the dedication and commitment of past and present parishioners.  As with all things, we need to renew our parish ministries and groups as the years roll by and people move on.
