About Us
C.W.L. was founded in Western Australia in 1937 and works at Branch, Diocesan, National and International Levels.

C.W.L. (Australia) is affiliated with the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations, which has consultative status in the United Nations.  Presents Catholic viewpoints on such matters as marriage, the home, education and other social issues.

Activities are many and varied with support for Priests and Parish always being the first priority for all Branches.

Get together with other Churches, representation on the Australian Church Women, National Council of Women,  participation in helping with Parish Functions, visiting the aged and sick, supporting the Seminaries, cancer research and other needy causes.  Volunteering for St.V.D.P. and other organizations and social outings.
