Dear Parishioners,

The message of the Gospel today is clear; when Jesus began to teach, people listened to him, because he spoke with authority. To speak with authority requires the speaker to know his subject well. Jesus did not have to refer to notes or consult with the priests or the scribes. He was certain of the truth of what he was teaching the people and so they believed. Read more…
