Parish Bulletin, 17th March 2013 – 5th Sunday of Lent, Year C

Dear parishioners,

 This week we have the final Scrutiny, the last step for our five Elect and three Candidates before thet are initiated fully into the Sacramental life of the Church. Please pray constantly for them over these last weeks.

Next Wednesday, 20^th March at 7.30pm we have our Second Rite of Reconciliation here in our parish. I urge you to come along and join in this communal rite of penance and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. No matter how sinful we feel we are, God is simply waiting for us to come to him so that he can cover us with his love and forgiveness. God’s willingness to forgive even the worst of our sins is a central message in today’s Gospel.
