Easter Sunday 20th April   -  Masses at 7.30am, 9.30am, 11.30am (Italian) and 6pm

MAKE READING FUN – Primary English lessons

PRIMARY ENGLISH LESSONS  begin again this year  in the  JOSEPH ROOM in the parish centre.   PARENT INTERVIEWS and PLACEMENT TESTS   are on a SATURDAY throughout the term beginning   Ist FEBRUARY.

Emphasis is on…. NAPLAN BASED LESSONS….. treating – speed reading, writing, spelling, word building, comprehension and grammar .  EXCELLENT RESULTS.  Two lesson options are  available – INDIVIDUAL and  SMALL GROUPS.

MAKE READING FUN is an outreach of MISSION PARTNERS MORELY when teachers/aides donate their time to helping Aussie kids with catch-up lessons. In turn donated lesson fees educate underprivileged  Mission kids and families  in Myanmar and India – touching hearts and changing lives. Any parent,  teacher or promoter wishing to also join the MAKE READING FUN project is encouraged to apply to Maggie Box. Parents who wish their children to attend catechism classes in 2014 may enrol them through the parish office now. If  you are unable to call at the office, please phone 92768500 and a set of forms can be emailed to you. You can then complete them and bring them along on the first day of classes. Classes commence  12 Feb, 2014.

Sacramental Preparation for Reconciliation, Communion and Confirmation take place during catechism classes. If you wish your children to receive any of these Sacraments and they are not attending a Catholic school, then you must enrol them into the PREP programme. Please also note that children require 2 years of preparation prior to receiving any of these Sacraments (as set down by the Archdiocesan Catechist Service).
